Gas powered generators for production power
Situation: A major foodstuffs manufacturer
required additional production power at their facility in Croatia.
Due to green power quotas for the country the manufacturer was keen
to use a more environmentally friendly power solution than
diesel.
Solution: Aggreko offered the client 5MW of gas
fuelled power, which would work well in two respects. The customer
had a gas supply on site so this was a financially sound option and
the company was also able to fill the government criteria to
receive a 'Green Certificate'.
